One Touch, Instant God Skills!

Fang wants an ordinary life to become something better than ordinary, and he has no way to make that happen. He is a young man with no job and nothing in particular going for him. Then chests start appearing around the city, floating in ordinary places, and he is the only person who can see them or touch them. Opening one is not simple. He has to keep his palm flat against it for ten full seconds, and if anything interrupts him in that time, the chest is gone and so is whatever was inside. What comes out varies. Sometimes a practical skill, sometimes a tool he could not have bought, sometimes a rare material. He works through the chests one at a time, taking whatever each one gives him and using it on whatever is in front of him in the city.
