고하청우쇄중렴 (枯荷听雨锁重帘)

Song Qing wants her husband Shen Ke to put her first, and he never does. She was a village doctor and she gave up her career to marry him, the factory director. In his house she comes second to Lin Wanqiu, the orphaned daughter of an old technician at the factory. Her brother is badly hurt. Shen Ke does not take him for treatment, he drives Lin Wanqiu somewhere instead, and her brother dies. Later there is a fire, and Song Qing is inside it. Shen Ke goes for Lin Wanqiu, and Song Qing loses the baby. She decides on a divorce and leaves. Shen Ke works out afterward what he actually wanted, exposes Lin Wanqiu for what she is, and finds that the patent her dead father was credited with was faked. He travels a long way to get Song Qing back.
