Synopsis

A master of modern medicine traveled through time and became the princess Lin Xiaoxiao, but was misunderstood by the prince Qin Jiuyuan and drugged to kill her. She was dismissed on the spot. Qin Jiuyuan fainted due to the lingering poison in his body. Su Waner brought someone in and framed Lin Xiaoxiao. The imperial doctor's diagnosis and treatment failed, so Lin Xiaoxiao stepped in to save the patient, but Su Waner took the blame and threw her into the woodshed. It wasn't until Qin Jiuyuan fainted again and Lin Xiaoxiao came to rescue him that he was able to prove his innocence.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
