Here Comes the Straight-A Mafia Boss

Naomi Clarke dies saving Leah Whitfield, who has just been shoved down a stairwell, and wakes up afterward in Leah's body. School records and household staff tell her what Leah's life had been: last in her class academically, and beaten down for years by Lillian Whitfield, who holds the family's money and status under a false claim, and by the rest of the Whitfield family alongside her. Naomi answers each of them the way she used to answer rivals in her old business, directly and without asking permission first. She locates the aide who worked under her before her death and reestablishes contact with him. Between them they start taking apart the Whitfield family's position piece by piece, reclaiming money, records, and standing that had been taken from Leah. While this is happening, Naomi's sister, sent abroad years earlier after some falling-out between them, returns to the country without telling anyone. She still knows the workings of Naomi's old organization from the inside, and she begins moving to take control of it for herself.
