Synopsis

The zombies took the land and what is left of humanity lives behind walls. The people who run things inside those walls decide who fights and who is protected. Luke is the strongest warrior alive and he hides it, enlisting as an F-rank sonic esper so he can stay near Mia. The elites frame him and throw him into an arena to be killed by the horde. What wakes in him there is the mark of the Zombie King, and the horde kneels. He goes looking for whoever made the plague.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
