Silas Tan wants to be treated as a husband. He gave up the table years ago and has been the man who keeps the house, and at the celebration banquet on a ship in international waters his wife Raine Soh, who runs the company, will not say in front of the guests that any of what she has came from him. She spends the evening on Sirius Koh, the intern, playing ten and a half with him where everyone can watch. Silas sits down at the game and takes the insults without answering. Raine keeps going.
