The Fool Prince Shocks the Empire

Shen Hui wants the throne his father sat on, and he wants the two people who poisoned his father to answer for it. So Shen Hui plays the dissolute, worthless prince, while in secret he founds the Wind-Filled Pavilion and builds it into a power of its own. When he judges the time right he drops the act. He enters the martial tournament, beats the champions of three states, and is named crown prince. Lu has been cheating on the army's grain supply, and Shen Hui gets the evidence with help from Yan Rushuang. Lu's answer is a plan to poison the regent, Shen Conglin, and lay the blame on Shen Hui. The poison reaches the regent, and a mourning hall is set up for him. Shen Hui and Yan Rushuang turn the funeral into a trap so that the plot to kill the ruler comes out in the open, with Lu's soldiers already surrounding the palace.
