Ultimate Evolution... I'm A Mosquito Now?

The girl the mosquito picks for its first meal is Gu Yuexi, the school beauty, asleep in her room. What the mosquito does not know is that Gu Yuexi is an empress reborn into this life, and that at that moment she is partway through a ritual to bind a divine beast, one she has spent her entire fortune to arrange. The bite lands on her leg in the middle of the ritual, and the contract that was meant for a divine beast closes on the mosquito. The mosquito used to be a person. It was reborn as the weakest insect there is and given a system that lets it evolve by drinking blood, and it flew into her room only to get stronger. Now it is her bonded beast. Gu Yuexi, who gave up everything she had for a guardian, is left with a mosquito and breaks down over it. At the point where the humiliation is worst, a power she did not know about wakes up in her. She decides that a mosquito for a fated beast might still leave her unbeatable, and the two of them start working as a pair.
