Charles Fraser is the one who stands behind Anna Coleman when she finally uses what she can do. Her parents died, and after that she hid the fact that she speaks eight languages and took entry-level translation work for three years, keeping out of anyone's notice. A negotiation at Evermont Group went wrong and she stepped in and saved the deal. With Charles supporting her she worked through the grief and started using languages to move things between countries. She founded a travelling international exhibition, The Porcelain Road: Chinese Ceramics on the Silk Road, and set up a scholarship for language students.
