Synopsis

Celestine, a duke’s daughter, is betrothed to heir Lucien. He forces her to wear a pink gown for their royal wedding to comfort his widowed sister-in-law Elowen, a dress only for mistresses. Enraged, Celestine visits the queen overnight. On the wedding day, Lucien stays with the "widow", so his war general brother Garrick marries her instead. The queen strips Lucien of his inheritance. Later, Celestine exposes Elowen as a fake lover who kidnapped the real widow. The wicked pair get punished, and Celestine lives happily with Garrick.
