1980s: The Mine King Reborn

In 1980 the tycoon has a wife, and she is the first person a local thug comes after. He has been sent back to that year from the life he already lived, and he has sworn to make up for what he got wrong the first time. The thug demands 500, and when the money is not paid he tries to carry the wife off as a pledge against the debt. The tycoon has only fragments of memory to work with. He uses them to hunt for antiques he knows will be worth something, misses the treasure, and instead saves a woman who runs a company and is in danger. She lends him the money the family needs. He sees through the thug's scheme, makes a first profit buying up snails, and persuades his father to acquire the rights to a mine. The CEO is attacked by a man in her own family, and she proposes that she and the tycoon found a company together. The same relative keeps sabotaging it, and the tycoon gets round each of his tricks. When the relative comes for the tycoon, she puts herself between them. She admits to the tycoon that she loves him while his wife is present.
