Obsessed with Being His Prey

Oliver is a vampire several centuries old, and he wants Elias's blood, which is unlike anyone else's. He finds Elias at the point where years of abuse and isolation have brought him to the edge of suicide, and talks him out of it by getting him to write a list of things he wants to do before he dies, to be finished over the summer. They work through the list together. What Oliver feels stops being about the blood somewhere along the way and turns into wanting Elias himself. Elias learns what Oliver is and has to sit with that alongside feelings of his own that he did not plan on. Oliver has a wife, a vampire he made his bride, and she wants revenge. She comes for Elias directly.
