A woman in Beverly Hills has been in love with Victor Young for ten years, and it is her father who finally puts him in her bed. Her father's affair drove her mother to her death that year, and she hates him for it. Sending her Victor is his way of getting back in her good graces. After one night with Victor she is completely in love with him. Three months into the relationship he talks her into forgiving her father. In the fourth month she learns she is pregnant. Her father has told her they have an important project to discuss, stroking her hair as he says it. Victor has rubbed her belly and said he will bring gifts for her and the baby once it is done.
