Biting the Hand That Feeds

On her way to work, Dr. Stella Fletcher is hit by Esther Boone riding a tricycle the wrong way. Ignoring her own injuries, Stella saves Esther. However, Esther and her family falsely accuse Stella for a payout, getting her fired. Even her husband Preston Walsh and mother-in-law turn against her. Luckily, Miles Sterling clears her name with footage, getting her job back. Preston then seeks a divorce and smears Stella online. With Miles helping, Stella proves Preston is the cheater and wins in court. Afterward, Miles reveals Stella once saved his life, confesses his feelings, and they find happiness together.
