Worrying About the Amount of Congee Instead of Managing the Serfs
The male protagonist Ye Qiu is deceived by his girlfriend Han Qian and loses all his money to make ten tons of plain congee, which cannot be sold. While driving his large truck, he accidentally transmigrates to the Great Yan dynasty. By chance, Ye Qiu is mistaken for the county magistrate by General Zhang Xue. Ye Qiu initially thinks that in the Great Yan dynasty, he can rely on his status as a county magistrate to have a comfortable life as a local lord, but he hears that the serfs in the city are rebelling due to a lack of food. Faced with the emaciated serfs, Ye Qiu sympathizes with them and takes out the ten tons of white porridge to relieve their suffering. He thinks the crisis is solved, but much to his despair... the real county magistrate arrives. Ye Qiu, the fake magistrate, is doomed. What's even more outrageous is that Zhang Xue, the general, is secretly a bandit, and the previous magistrate died in her hands...
