Never Again, My Alpha

A pack is held together by the tie between its Alpha and its Luna, and either of them can cut it. Blood from the Lycan royal line can hold a ward over a pack's territory, and it has to be paid out of the one who carries that blood, again and again. Elara Nightwind is a princess of that line and nobody in Adrian Wilder's pack knows it. She lives among them as a Luna with no strength anyone can see, and she opens her own blood to keep the ward standing over Adrian's people. Adrian takes another woman in front of the pack. Elara is carrying his pup and he refuses to acknowledge it. She cuts the tie and goes. Adrian finds out afterwards who she was, and the protection over his territory goes with her.
