Claimed by Apollo's Son

In ancient Greece, Kallisa has a son named Lyros and does not know that the boy's father is Heron, a prince and a demigod. She conceived him on a night when she was veiled and Heron had been drugged, and the same night left a golden sun mark on her skin. Before that she had run away from her father, who was selling her to a brothel. Now she works in the palace disguised as a laundress. She is hiding the child, and also the truth about whether she can bear children, and either one carries a death sentence if it is found out. Apollo demands that an heir be produced or the city will lose its light. Three trials follow. They bring out what Kallisa has been hiding, and she refuses to sacrifice Lyros.
