In this country the president's wife is expected to stand behind him and say nothing. Hera will not. Her husband, President Zeus, is caught up in the Eden Island sex scandal, rigs elections, and takes money from conglomerates. His vice president, Hephaestus, wants the office for himself, works to bring down the sitting president, and has spent years threatening the Cane family. Hera serves as White House Chief of Staff, then runs for president as an independent. Deepfake videos are used to smear her. She is told a woman cannot hold the office. There are attempts on her life. She works with Athena, who runs the Kim Group, and with Mike, a federal agent, to collect evidence against Zeus. She pushes the Women's Political Participation Protection Act and puts what Zeus has done on the record.
