Blood Is the Curse

The god of war Ares makes a wager, and it runs for a thousand years. The Spartan king Leonidas and the Persian king Sasan are cursed under it and reborn, one as a werewolf and the other as a vampire, and neither of them can die. In the Middle Ages a girl named Helen brings the two back together. She has the face of a woman who died long ago. Her blood alone can hold down the beast inside them, and it is the one thing that gives them hope. A blood covenant ties the three together, along with a fate soaked in blood, and it pulls them into a last confrontation in which love and destruction collide. The confrontation stretches across the full thousand years.
