My Only Daughter

Vanessa Reed and her daughter Chloe want the money. Ethan Carter, who founded Carter Tech and is a billionaire, is lying in a hospital bed, and they try to have him moved out before he has died. Vanessa is the woman he spent years chasing. The only one who stays is Emily Carter, his own daughter, poor and ignored for years while he was busy with Vanessa, and she is the one covering his hospital bills. Ethan dies full of regret and wakes up five years earlier, on the morning of Chloe's birthday. He throws away the gift he had bought for Chloe and turns everything toward Emily instead, a birthday gala, and voting shares in Carter Tech. But everyone around him is used to treating Chloe as the princess and Emily as nobody, and Emily is humiliated by those same people before Ethan can reach her.
