Synopsis

Divorce countdown begins when Lucas discovers Doris has hidden her terminal pancreatic cancer diagnosis for a year. Refusing to burden him, she hides in their abandoned movie theater, awaiting death alone. Heartbroken, Lucas sacrifices his savings and pride to support her through chemotherapy. Her medical insurance brings hope, and their love helps her overcome despair. After surviving the crisis, they welcome a child and start a charity foundation together. Lucas holds her hand, saying, “Luckily, I didn’t lose you.”
