Buried Truth

In prison, men who've been turned on by their own relatives tend to find each other before anyone else does. Architect Ellis is sent there on a frame-up, and ends up bunking near Kael, a former special forces soldier whose own family cut him loose the same way. The two work out that their cases trace back to the same people, and they agree that once they're out, they'll go after them together. After release they start pulling the case apart, following the money and the paperwork back to whoever set them up. Kael's older brother Orin has been carrying a fixation on Kael for years that he's never said out loud, and he starts reading Ellis as the reason Kael won't need him anymore. Orin reaches out to Sable, Kael's stepmother, who has her own reasons for wanting Ellis gone, and the two of them start feeding information to whoever is still trying to bury Ellis and Kael for good. Somewhere in the middle of this, hitmen are sent to kill Kael. Orin is the one standing closest to him when they arrive.
