Reversal: From Outcast to Heiress

Evelyn Sames's father took the man she wanted to marry for someone who chased money and looked down on people who had none. He set a term of three years for her to show him otherwise. Evelyn kept her family out of it, married, and sold goods from a street stall for her own money, and she put what she made into her husband until he was running a listed company. The three years run out. Her father sends over a present for her third wedding anniversary, and she decides to surprise her husband with it at his signing ceremony. The day before the ceremony her mother-in-law tells her to divorce him and leave the house. The rest of his family goes along with it, and in the course of it Evelyn sees what her husband is. She stops keeping her name out of it and begins answering them back.
