Checkmate of Hearts

Synopsis

When Leon Bray's family corners Aviana Slater at her engagement ceremony, elderly neighbor Clare Pace produces a 180-million check and offers Aviana a marriage to her grandson, Rafael Stafford. Financially desperate, Aviana accepts, leading Rafael to conceal that he is a billionaire CEO because he mistakes her for a fortune hunter. Living together corrects his judgment and turns reluctance into love, but the accidental exposure of his identity sends Aviana demanding a divorce. After winning her back, Rafael faces a new indignity: she insists their marriage remain secret at work, leaving him constantly trying to be acknowledged as her husband.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
