Synopsis

Xu Nan was once the privileged young master of a wealthy family in Chongcheng, betrayed by his stepmother who set up a scandal involving him and the young miss from the Qin family. His reputation shattered, he left alone to join the army in the South. Five years later, Xu Nan has become the respected reigning commander of the South. However, he receives the tragic news of his sister's suicide, driven by bullies. Vowing revenge on his sister and eradicating these evil people, Xu Nan orders his return to Chong City.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
