Synopsis

Gu Wan answers her half-sister's request to expose an affair and ends up hiding in an inn closet with powerful marshal Huo Xizhou, who is evading killers. Forced to witness the scandal together, they form an improbable connection. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
