Synopsis

Gu Wan enters a cramped inn closet to catch an adulterer and finds herself pressed beside Huo Xizhou, a powerful marshal hiding from assassins. Forced to witness the scandal together, the physician and the famously dismissive bachelor form an unlikely bond. The woman he once would have called delicate and troublesome soon becomes the capable wife he praises for healing patients, earning money, and commanding their household.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
