Synopsis

Time traveler Shen Xian wakes as a disfigured, pregnant outcast whose husband is marrying another woman. She attends the ceremony, strikes the new bride, and discovers the supposed rival can match her performance. Refusing further abuse from her faithless husband, Shen declares herself beyond his reach and turns toward finding a second love.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
