Father in the Trap

Synopsis

Wave John is framed by his wife Lily Lian's lover, Beau Wilson. His daughters resent him due to their mother's lies. Years later, Wave finds his daughters and reveals the truth at a banquet, where he reunites with his younger daughter, Stella. After the villain kidnaps them, the truth comes to light, leading to the villain's arrest and Lily's breakdown. The family finally reconciles in the hospital.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
