Synopsis

Marigold Synder, a humble young healer, accidentally saves the injured King Thaddeus Raleigh. Her friend Jasmine Fowler seizes this opportunity to claim Marigold’s act as her own. Jasmine, who becomes a consort in the palace, plots against Marigold out of jealousy. Despite Jasmine's treacherous schemes, Marigold rises to become the Deputy Chief Physician of the Royal Clinic. When Jasmine slanders Marigold, accusing her of misconduct after learning of her pregnancy, the truth eventually comes to light. Jasmine is sentenced to death, and Marigold finds true love and a happy ending.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
