Twenty years ago, a maid in the Jones family mistakenly injected hypnotic instead of a nutritional supplement into Thomas Jones's newborn daughter, causing the child to have weak breathing and possibly face death. Fearing responsibility, the maid sought another baby girl to replace the Jones family's child and abandoned the real daughter deep in the mountains.
