Synopsis

Joan Shipley wants the wedding she was promised a few days ago, when Charlie Snowdon, who has known her since childhood, proposed. The date passes without a ceremony. Elora, the adopted daughter of the family, is said to be sinking further into depression, the depression is put on, and Joan's relatives and her older brother ask that the wedding be pushed back. Charlie agrees to the delay. The dress Joan was to wear is handed over to Elora on the same grounds. Joan tells Charlie to choose between her and Elora. He says he is sorry and walks out without settling it.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
