Heirness's Anger

Yara Jenkins is the Jenkins family's own daughter, and she does everything she can think of to please them. Marina Jenkins, the girl they adopted, is the one the family prefers, and nothing Yara does closes the gap. What Yara gets is coldness, neglect and a set of ideas about her that nobody in the house ever checks. She lives there like an outsider and takes it for years. In the end the family turns her out, and she dies at Marina's hands. Then she is alive again. This time she cuts the family off and goes back to the adoptive parents who raised her. After she has gone, her older brother Hector Jenkins begins to find out what she put up with in that house all those years.
