Fusion of Fate

Synopsis

Technical student Luca Cohen achieves controlled nuclear fusion, only to have a returning PhD mock his education, accuse him of fraud, and discard his experimental notes during a blind date. General Juno Wood recovers the papers and brings them to her academician grandfather at the Washingten Research Institute. Recognizing the breakthrough, they move to protect Luca and secure national recognition for his work.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
