Stand By Her

Calum Hayes was in a car crash and Luna Gallard got him out of it. Keira Spence, the housekeeper's daughter, told him it had been her, and he believed that. Calum and Luna married. His mother, Jewel Hayes, a businesswoman known for the money she gave away, took her son's side against Luna and put her out of the family. Keira took her place in the house, and some time after that Calum was sent to prison. Jewel learned on her deathbed that Keira had arranged all of it to become mistress of the Hayes family, and she said that in another life she would not favour her son and would protect Luna instead. She woke up three years earlier, on the day Luna's pregnancy was confirmed at the hospital and Keira was found to be carrying a boy. The first time round, that was the day Jewel agreed to the divorce and let Keira into the house. This time she went to the hospital and stopped it. Calum held that Keira was the right woman for him, so Jewel put him out, cancelled his cards and took Luna home. Calum and Keira treated it as a test and waited to be collected. Jewel set about finding out why her son was so loyal to Keira.
