Bound Forever

The head of the Yarnell family means to sell his daughter into a marriage that will buy the family standing. Fiona Yarnell, newly arrived in this body from another life, is inside the wedding sedan working out how she might get away from it when a sword takes the sedan apart around her. The man holding it is Jacob Swinford, a northern prince, who had come tracking a destiny bug rather than looking for her. The bug goes into Fiona's body instead of his. His men tell him what the Yin Poison requires: he can only be rid of it by lying with the woman it has entered. Fiona gets clear of the wreck and gets a proper look at his face, and it is the face of the lover she buried in the modern world.
