How to Train a Playboy

Synopsis

A deadly assassin returns from exile to reclaim the life stolen from her, but her most dangerous mission isn’t revenge—it’s marriage. Vera Kane, known in the underworld as the infamous “Donna,” strikes a calculated deal to wed Miles Bristol, California’s reckless trust-fund playboy, in order to secure her inheritance and take back her mother’s empire. What begins as a hostile contract explodes into a fiery battle of control, seduction, and power as Vera exposes corruption, dismantles her family, and forces Miles to confront the man he’s become. Between gunfights, boardroom coups, and dangerously charged chemistry, love and revenge blur into one. Can an unstoppable assassin really train a spoiled playboy into her perfect partner, or will their marriage become her most dangerous assignment?

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.

The plot is hard to follow and never really comes together. With all the flashbacks and dream sequences, the pacing has no tension at all…
