Synopsis

An ex-lover's betrayal sells Alex into labor at a jade mine, where a freak accident gives him the ability to perceive the true value of anything. He turns that sight on stones, antiques, and the people who exploited him, building an empire from knowledge no rival can match. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
