I Left to Set You Free

Alexander was declared dead in a car crash five years ago. He is alive, living in the same city as his former fiancée Elizabeth, and claiming to have lost his memory. He is also sleeping with Elizabeth's stepsister Marjorie. Elizabeth knows all of it. Years earlier she watched a video in which Alexander admitted he had staged the crash to get out of the engagement, and she has said nothing since. When the two of them are in a room together again, she produces a ring and tells them she is married to Arthur Carter, the Wall Street financier who is Alexander's uncle. The room takes her at her word.
