Forged in the Storm

Synopsis

Jerold teams up with Jerred in deep-sea fishing. After 27 dangerous trips bring in $20 million, he gets only $200,000. Betrayed, Jerold buys his own boat and puts together a crew. After Jerold saves him from a deadly storm, Jerred shows no remorse. In the end, Jerred loses everything while Jerold finds success.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
