Synopsis

Elderly couple George Whitmore and Eleanor Whitmore pretend to be poor to test daughters, but are cast out on a rainy night. Kind Mia Foster takes them in. Greed ruins their biological children. After the storm, they let go of hate, build an honest life, and bloom like sunflowers toward the light.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
