Homeward Ballad

Synopsis

General Morven's family suffers wrongful ruin. Maid Soren rescues heir Corin at great risk. They flee pursuers in mountains for fifteen years while she raises and trains him. Corin exposes the corrupt chancellor in the capital, clearing his father's name. With justice served, they return to their hard-won home.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
