Synopsis

Qin Churan is hiding beneath his lover Chen Ruolin's bed when her husband Jiang Kun comes home and kills her. Trapped at the murder scene, Qin sends an urgent plea to his girlfriend Xu Qiao. Her unsettling response suggests that escape is not his only problem—and that she knows more than she admits.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
