Synopsis

Brain surgeon Huang Fei travels to a fictional Three Kingdoms era after a neural link experiment fails. He meets a female physician, Wan Ying. Combining Huang Fei's modern medicine with Wan Ying's traditional medicine, they work together to save many patients' lives.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
