The King of Medicine and War

Lin Fan was set up by an enemy and lost his whole family to it. He would have died as well, except that a young girl took him in and kept him alive. Five years later he comes back as the Northern King, with a command behind him and training in both medicine and martial arts. The girl who saved him is in trouble by then, and getting her out is the first thing he does. After that he goes after the people responsible for his family, and breaks them. He works through what he takes from them and finds that the plot that destroyed his family reached further than the men he has just dealt with.
