Synopsis

Ruan Qinghuai was adopted by Bo Siheng at age 7 and gradually fell in love with her guardian. She confessed yearly but he rejected her due to their 10-year age gap, even getting a girlfriend to discourage her. After a drunken night together which he forgot, he mistakenly thought she was pregnant with another man's child. Heartbroken, she left. When Bo discovered the truth and rushed to the airport to stop her, his girlfriend crashed into him, severing both his legs.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
