Learning the Truth, He Wept Profusely

Seven years ago Su Ran took the murder charge in Ye Linchuan's place. She was convicted and held. With the execution date set, she was given ten days out. Her mother needed surgery. Su Ran took work pouring drinks at a club to raise the fee, and there she ran into Ye Linchuan, who had made money in business in the years since. He took it that she had walked out on him for money seven years earlier, and he used money to humiliate her with it. On the day set for the execution Gu Shiyu arrived with new evidence and Su Ran was released. She had given away part of her liver at some point, and what that left her with meant she needed a transplant herself. A liver came up, and Ye Linchuan had it taken for Su Man instead.
