The Day We Got Married

Caroline collects the engagement ring she ordered a few weeks earlier and takes it to Matthew's apartment to show him. She finds Matthew in bed with her stepsister, Alexis. She leaves in a rage and is hit by a speeding motorcycle outside. Jack, who is inspecting the building for his company, sees it happen and gets her help. Alexis and Matthew come to the hospital the next day. Caroline calls off the engagement. While she is there she sees a man trying to take an elderly patient's wallet, and she stops him and walks the woman back to her room. On the way she takes a call from the lawyer for her late mother's company: her stepmother Joana intends to move ownership of Rosewood to herself. In the woman's room Caroline finds that the patient's grandson is Jack.
