Operation Seduction

Chris Collins is the best friend of Harper Reeves's father and his partner in a business nobody explains to her. He turns up at her party during her last year at Yale, a year she was trying to get through with a few friends to show for it, and she would rather it had been the police. He keeps turning up after that, in the same protective mode, until Harper decides she wants him out of her father's life. Her friend Maria helps her with the plan. If Chris falls for her, her father will throw him out himself. They call it Operation Seduction. Harper keeps getting into trouble and Chris keeps being the one who gets her out of it, and each time that happens it is harder for her to go on saying she feels nothing for him.
