They Wanted a Pawn, Got a Queen

Frederick, who runs the Fu Group and has lost the use of his legs, is to be married, and the bride was supposed to be Linsey's stepsister. Linsey's father sends Linsey in her place. Linsey was abandoned as a small child and grew up outside the family. Her father brings her home eighteen years later for this marriage, and he goes into it assuming the daughter he threw away can still be told what to do. He does not know what she did with those eighteen years. She answers to more than one name and has more than one line of work behind her, and she comes back into the house with accounts of her own to settle.
